Haiku is a short, traditional Japanese poem form consisting of three lines. The first and last lines usually have five syllables, while the second line has seven syllables. Haiku poems are known for expressing a momentary experience, often inspired by nature and the seasons.
Haiku poems usually have a cut line that separates the first or second line from the last, and the cut line acts as a momentary glance that provides a new angle or contrast. Haiku poems try to express a feeling or experience in as few words as possible, and in doing so create a deeper understanding of the moment and connection to nature.
Here are some haiku poems:
Autumn leaves dance,
Paint nature with color,
The cycle of life happens.
lonely seagulls,
Flying towards the sunset's reef,
The longing for freedom.
The melody of the spring rain,
Pearls dancing on the ground,
New growth sprouts.
Silence at night,
The moon shines like a lamp,
Stars twinkle quietly.
Silence at night,
The moon shines like a lamp,
Stars twinkle quietly.
The flight of the butterfly,
Light as a feather in the wind,
Seeking the nectar's sweetness.
Mountaintops call,
Want to be climbed,
A hiker's dream.
The glow of the sunset,
Colors the sky in gold,
The day says goodbye.
The wind whispers gently,
The deciduous trees dance and sing,
A forest of the spirit of life.
The morning bird chirps,
A new day has begun now,
Everything is possible again.
the magic of winter,
Snowflakes lightly dance in the air,
A cold but beautiful time.
The rain falls heavily,
Nature is washed clean and new,
Life blossoms.
Lone wolf howling,
Longing for his flock's call,
Nature's symphony.
A wave's flow,
Silent and strong in his walk,
The eternal circle of life.
Birds in a tree,
Song and play, so lively free,
Nature music in the soul.
The sun's rays warm,
A new day has now dawned,
Everything is possible now.
Autumn leaves dance,
One last dance before they fall,
Nature's symphony.
The moon rises,
The night becomes light from its skin,
A dream of adventure.
lonely star,
Flashing in the distance now,
A forgotten dream.
The wind whispers gently,
The grass bends in time,
A song from nature.
The sun's rays warm,
Make flowers bloom now,
The rebirth of life.
My hobby is to write poems, since 2008 I have always wished to publish poems and share my creative work with the world. I take inspiration from a variety of sources, including nature, art, and human emotion. I believe that poetry has the power to heal, inspire, and transform, and it is my goal to create works that do just that.
