Funny poems for children are a wonderful way to introduce children to poetry in a fun and entertaining way. These poems are often written with a humorous tone and use funny images and puns to make children laugh and enjoy reading. They can be short or long, rhyming or non-rhyming, and are about everything from animals and nature to everyday situations and adventures. Many of these poems can also be read aloud and shared with others, making them a great activity for family and friends. Whether it's a funny story or a funny rhyme, these funny poems will give children the joy of reading and learning about poetry in a fun and relaxed way.
A cat on the roof
hid and laughed,
for when the dog came,
ran it away in peace.
But the dog said "hello!"
and ran after the cat,
who looked around,
and said "no, no, no!"
But the cat was fast,
and the dog was tenacious,
so they played and laughed,
until the sun went down.
So if you see them,
the dog and the cat,
so say "Hello" to them both,
for they are friends tonight.

Once upon a time there was a little fish,
which swam round and round.
She enjoyed exploring the ocean,
and to play around with seaweed and kelp.
But one day she swam too far,
and suddenly she was caught in a net.
She was so scared and confused,
and did not understand what she should do, what she should do right.
But then a big whale came,
who saw her where she was trapped.
She said, "Don't be afraid, little friend,
I will help you to be free and free from being trapped."
But then a big whale came,
who saw her where she was trapped.
She said, "Don't be afraid, little friend,
I will help you to be free and free from being trapped."
The whale used his great tail,
and managed to break up the net.
The fish was so grateful,
and said, "Thank you for your help, I will never forget you, you are so kind and right."
Then the fish swam happily away,
back to his own little world.
And she knew she had a friend,
a whale that she would never forget

A rainbow that is high and wide,
with all the colors so nice in a beautiful place.
It appears after a rainy day,
and lights up the sky like a colorful flag
It starts with red, then orange and yellow,
with colorful rays like a beautiful garden, right up in the clouds so high.
So green and blue and indigo blue,
and purple and pink, all so lovely.
Once I saw a rainbow so strong,
I thought I might find a pot of gold, but it was perhaps a little too far away.
I ran as fast as I could,
but the rainbow disappeared and left no memory
But rainbows are still so nice and good,
they remind us that there is always a brighter day.
So the next time you see a rainbow so beautiful,
let it remind you of happiness and joy and make you smile at life.

Socks, socks, everywhere,
Some are red and some are rare.
They like to hide and play peek-a-boo,
And sometimes they make you go "eww!"
One disappears, where could it be?
Under the bed or up a tree?
It might be hiding in your shoe,
Or be borrowed by your friend
But fear not, for soon it will return,
And your feet will no longer be cold.
For the missing sock has been found,
and has returned home safely
My hobby is to write poems, since 2008 I have always wished to publish poems and share my creative work with the world. I take inspiration from a variety of sources, including nature, art, and human emotion. I believe that poetry has the power to heal, inspire, and transform, and it is my goal to create works that do just that.
